Once the tests have been completed, the Neuro-Therapy Clinic, Inc. will evaluate the test results, symptoms and contributing factors to identify the best course of treatment. Treatment options may include one or more of the following:
- Medications – there are a variety of medications that can be prescribed to help treat AD/HD, depending on the severity of the symptoms. If medications are recommended, we may also recommend a PEER Outcome Report™ to help us determine which medication has been successful for patients with similar neurophysiology.
- Evaluation and treatment of visual tracking issues. If we see certain deficits in visual processing and visual tracking, we may recommend a thorough evaluation by an optometrist specializing in Visual Retraining.
- Academic placement, tutoring, or re-alignment. Sometimes we find that students are being under- or over-challenged in school, or that their preferred learning style is different than what is being used to teach them, which can be a significant contributor to the problem. If so, we may recommend a change in the child’s academic environment to place them in an environment that better supports their learning style.
